Beschreibung
Sonnedix is a global renewable energy producer operating large-scale solar plants in England, Italy, Spain and other countries. Over 8 months, Galde acted as Forward Deployed Engineer and later Palantir Foundry Tech Lead, owning the end-to-end delivery of two data products: Meter to Revenue, which automates billing and revenue recognition, and Fintel, the internal financial reporting product. Both are used by asset management, O&M and finance teams.
Lösung
- Meter to Revenue: we modeled the business in Palantir Foundry's Ontology and built the data pipelines connecting metering, assets and commercial contracts. We then deployed operational Workshop applications that give visibility and traceability over the billing of the energy produced.
- Fintel: as Tech Lead, we designed and built both the backend (ontology, pipelines, business logic) and the frontend (Workshop and Contour) for a coherent end-to-end experience. We embedded AI capabilities that automate analysis and generate financial insights inside the application.
- Governance and security: we defined and supervised a role-based access control (RBAC) model to protect sensitive financial data.
- Maintainability: we documented the architecture and key technical decisions through Architecture Decision Records (ADRs), so Sonnedix's teams can adopt, maintain and evolve the solutions.
- Delivery: we combined product and project management (roadmap, prioritization, stakeholder coordination) with hands-on development.

- Automates the flow from meter reading to revenue recognition, replacing manual steps with a traceable, auditable process.
- Gives asset management, O&M and finance teams shared operational applications and a single source of truth.
- Speeds up financial reporting and analysis with AI-generated insights inside Fintel.
- Protects sensitive financial information with a clear access-control model.
- Leaves Sonnedix with documented architecture and decisions, so its teams can run and extend the products on their own.
